The Trust enjoys an excellent reputation among its fellow charities as well as the more commercial companies working in elderly care.  Greensleeves Care’s reputation is not just based on subjectivity with our peers, it is also based on objective customer feedback received via care home reviews, surveys and ratings.

Carehome.co.uk care home reviews

Carehome.co.uk is the most important review site for Care Homes in the United Kingdom. It lists over 18,500 different care homes with 16 million visits per year and almost 76,000 annual reviews.  A specialist team checks each review’s authenticity and the site provides the best independent insight into care providers and individual care homes.

In 2018 carehome.co.uk awarded Greensleeves Care Top 20 Status for Large Care Home Providers in the UK. This essentially means that out of around 2,400 care home groups we are in the top 20. This is an especially positive award considering that Greensleeves Care is much smaller than many of the other award winners.

   

Your Care Rating Residents’ Survey

Your Care Rating survey gives residents living in care homes the opportunity to provide their views and feedback.   Families and residents receive a short survey each year to fill in and return.

Ipsos MORI, a leading market research organisation conducts the survey and its findings are of real value. It covers care homes that primarily serve older people (aged 65 plus). The survey covers care homes in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland producing an overall score out of one thousand.

In 2018 Your Care Rating Survey, (Residents and Relatives surveys), Greensleeves Care scored higher than the national average across all four criteria: Staff and Care, Home Comforts, Choice and Having a Say and Quality of Life. Which? Consumer Group

In February 2018 Which? published their first ever view of the elderly care sector. “Finding a way through the broken care system” was published to highlight the difficulties families face in choosing appropriate care.  A copy can be found by visiting our Publications Page.

Greensleeves Care is also very proud that Which? named us the Number 1 Care Charity in the United Kingdom. We are also delighted to be named as The Best Care Provider in the South East and The Best Care Provider in the East of England.  These two regional wins are noteworthy as most of our care homes are located in these two areas with only a few outside.

Care Quality Commission (CQC) Reports

Greensleeves Care has much better CQC reports than the average across the elderly care sector. The industry average being 25% of all care homes rated as Requires Improvement or Inadequate; while Greensleeves Care has more than 90% rated as Good or Outstanding.
