At Greensleeves Care, we consider ourselves very fortunate to work with so many caring and committed dedicated managers and their lovely caring teams. Our dedicated staff are hard working, committed and focused on helping to make our residents’ lives happy and positive every day. The golden test for us is a smiling face and a resident who feels safe and relaxed.
Residents come first
We do not just put our residents first, they are truly our sole focus. Because we are a charity this ethos is much easier to live by, everything is about their care and well-being. It is also the thing that allows us maximise support and care for our own team. It is a fact that working for Greensleeves Care is a bit different, which is why people stay so long with us. Training is key
Our staff are passionate and well-trained and enjoy the support and trust of their managers. Training is really important to Greensleeves Care’s culture and we are rightly proud of it. We do a lot of formal training delivered by our training team, but there is also plenty of daily on the job support. Because of this nurturing ethos, we have developed the skills and understanding needed to interact positively and respectfully with our residents.
We firmly believe in continuing to learn and develop and many of our carers have gone on to become managers. Our Training Department is Fully Accredited which is very unusual in the care sector. This accreditation provides an extra layer of confidence as market leading Advantage Accreditation also audit what we do. We also have our own Quality Assurance Managers who help our home managers and their teams keep the high standards. This ensures there is constant reinforcement of best practice and the right way to do things.
