Greensleeves Care Awards
Every day throughout the year our colleagues across all of our home as well as the Head Office Team live and breathe our values. The day that this is most obviously demonstrated is during the Greensleeves Care Awards. On this day each year we all come together to celebrate, to thank and to acknowledge what happens across our homes every day.
Our care home teams have come to see the Greensleeves Care Awards as ‘a chance to shine’ and to celebrate excellence in what they do every day. It is a very special time where people are delighted for their colleagues even if, they themselves, do not win on this occasion.
The annual event gives a chance to recognise the hard work and dedication which takes place ‘behind the scenes’ at care homes. Whether it is a unique way of interacting with residents, making them feel very special and anticipating their emotional and physical needs, or whether it is designing a beautiful care home garden where the residents enjoy spending time, the charity recognises this excellence through its programme of awards.
