“The best possible Residential and Dementia Care in Ely’s best Care Home”

Speirs House - best nursing home in New Malden

The Orchards Care Home is one of the most highly regarded Residential and Dementia Homes in Cambridgeshire and considered by many to be the best in the local community.  The home has an enviable reputation with all local healthcare professionals.   Those people that know care homes best, GPs, District Nurses and other professionals are unanimous in their positive feedback about the home and recommend us widely.

The Orchards is part of Greensleeves Care a highly respected charity and one of the only organisations that provides a “Home for Life Promise”, which means we never ask anybody to leave if they run out of money.  Call us and ask for more details about this promise.

Newly built by an exceptional building company, The Orchards is a stunning home that never fails to wow people when they see it for the first time.  The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifully furnished in a style that appeals to our residents.  All rooms have personal en-suite wet rooms giving freedom and convenience.

This puts The Orchards in a unique position locally as the only recently newly purpose built care home in the local area.  With this comes the best possible care, great activities and a super quality of life combined with the stunning building and facilities only available in a brand new purpose built care home.

Our families derive a great deal of confidence from how the GPs, District Nurses and other professionals think of us and how much they recommend us as being the best possible local Care Home.  They also gain a great deal from knowing we are a charity and that we will honour our “Home for Life Promise”, especially when they are initially looking for a care home.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) have not yet inspected The Orchards Care Home.  This is not unusual because most homes are not inspected in the first 12 months to 18 months after opening.  Instead the CQC “keep an eye” on all new homes to make sure the home is a happy and safe place to live.
