“We are delighted with the home. The staff are friendly and helpful and the activities team organise interesting things for residents to do on a daily basis. Mum has settled very well and we don’t have to worry about her now that she is in the home. The managers are the same as when we first discussed the possibility of Mum moving into the home four years ago and everyone seems very caring. There are posher, newer care homes in the area, but Rose Cottage has a family feel to it and the staff are great. We feel very lucky there was a vacancy when we needed one.”

A warm welcome to our charming care home – the number 1 not-for-profit care home in Huntingdon*

Rose Cottage is set in a beautiful setting in the tranquil village of Broughton. The home is proud to be an integral part of the local Cambridgeshire community. Rose Cottage features 38 spacious en-suite bedrooms, with all bedrooms located on the ground floor and many with private access to the beautiful courtyard, extensive gardens, or the decking area around the pond. Our residents enjoy a varied programme of daily activities and home-cooked food, while being cared for by loving, kind, and compassionate staff.

It all starts with our 6-week no-obligation trial. Whether you’re exploring long-term care or considering respite care for a loved one, our trial allows you to try it out before committing to a longer term. Our approach to care means you get skill with a smile, a nice cup of tea before you even realise you want one, and a joke when you need it. We think that’s all part of good caring.

Being a charity means our focus is on people, not pockets. And with our unique Home for Life Commitment, you’ll never be asked to leave if your funds run out.
