Lavender Fields is admitting new residents
Lavender Fields Care Home is admitting new residents into our lovely homely community, we are doing so in a very sensible, safe and equitable way putting the safety of our existing residents, the new residents and the wider home community at the forefront of all we do. As you would expect from one of the UK’s most respected Care Charities we have some very clear protocols and guidance surrounding the admittance process, which you can find out all about by reading our admissions policy
Home for life
All of the funds the charity receives either through care fees or donations is spent directly on the residents’ care or in improving the quality of the homes in which they live. We are incredibly proud to operate a “home for life policy”. Unlike many of the other homes in the area we would not ask somebody to leave if they ran out of money after living with us for some time.
Supporting residents to maintain their independence
There is plenty of communal space which includes spacious dining rooms where residents will enjoy the home cooked food. The presence of lifestyle kitchens in the dining rooms enables residents to maintain their personal independence. The large activity lounges encourage residents to pursue their hobbies, or take up new ones. Smaller quiet lounges are there for residents to relax and spend time with their loved ones. There is outdoor space for everybody to enjoy, access friendly patios are overlooked by exceptional, large terraces with glazed sides on both the first and second floors. These terraces ensure that residents living with dementia have continuous safe and secure access to the outside.
When life changes for you or a loved one, Lavender Fields can offer 24 hour residential, dementia and respite care. Person-centred care is at the heart of what Greensleeves Care do best and every member of our hand-selected team is chosen for his or her empathy and dedication to the profession.
