“The best possible Residential and Dementia Care in Ipswich’s best Care Home”
Henley House is one of the most highly regarded Residential and Dementia Homes in the Ipswich community. The Henley Team and residents transferred from the very highly regarded Thornbank which recently closed down. It enjoys an excellent reputation with all the local Health Care professionals who helped the Thornbank team provide a generation of service to the older people of Ipswich.
This puts Henley House in a unique position: it has the very best care provision, activities and quality of life built up over a generation of care service combined with the stunning building and facilities only available in a brand new purpose built care home.
Our families derive a great deal of confidence from how the GPs, District Nurses and other professionals think of us and how much they recommend us as being the best possible local Care Home. We are also a well respected charity that have a “Home for Life Promise”, which means we never ask anybody to leave if they run out of money.
The Care Quality Commission have not yet inspected Henley House. This is not unusual because most homes are not inspected in the first 12 months following opening, instead the CQC “keep an eye on these homes” to make sure the home is a happy and safe place to live. Because we transferred the team from Thornbank many of our families and those considering Henley House ask to see Thornbank’s CQC Report, so we have included a link here Thornbank’s CQC Report. It is important to reiterate this is Thornbank’s CQC Report and not Henley House’s
