Greensleeves Care is a charitable, social care Trust providing residential and nursing care throughout the Midlands, East and South of England. We believe that ageing should be a continued stage of development and growth, and as a result, our homes are characterised by variety and spontaneity. We pay unremitting attention to care quality and many of our homes have won national and regional awards.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Arden House, Residential Care Home, Leamington Spa, where a Bookkeeper is required. You will work with the Home manager collating resident’s information including preparing contracts, managing room diaries and liaising with Local Authorities. In this role you will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the budget, and preparing the payroll. Other duties include credit control/debtors reports, bank and credit card reconciliations and month end reporting.

Candidates should have strong numeracy and communication skills, and must have experience both of working in an office and of having carried out manual and/or electronic bookkeeping. Experience of using Microsoft applications is also required. Relevant qualifications (in administration or bookkeeping) are not essential, nor is experience of having worked in a care home – although both would be preferred.
