Torkington House residents get a VIP treatmentTo celebrate Dignity Action Day on 1st of February, the staff from Torkington House care home in Acton arranged an tea afternoon at Harrods for three residents (Cyril, Mary and Jessie) and two staff members (Margaret, Home Manager and Reizle, Care Supervisor).

They were picked up from Torkington House by a limousine and taken to Harrods. Jason Rendel, The Customer Service Adviser and Gilberto Soares, Lead Adviser from Harrods Customer Service were involved with the arrangements of complimentary afternoon tea alongside a glass of complimentary pink or white Champagne.

Torkington House residents get a VIP treatmentCyril, one of a residents who was an ex-employee of Harrods for around 15 years was given a special gift by Harrods and other residents were given complimentary presents and keepsakes.

The service provided by Harrods was exemplary in every way. It was a pleasurable day to remember for residents and staff members at Torkington House. Residents said that this would be a day to remember in years to come.
