As an Internal Quality Standards Auditor, you will:
- Carry out monthly monitoring visits of allocated services to ensure that quality and compliance is being maintained as per CQC requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Carry out a programme of compliance audits in conjunction with the Quality & Risk Manager and be involved in assessing and monitoring the operational delivery of services.
- Work closely with Registered Managers across all regions in supporting the homes with auditing and reporting of metrics required to evidence CQC or other relevant regulatory bodies (e.g. data
to populate PIR) - Report on key audit areas e.g. KLOE outcomes, complaints, safeguarding referrals, accidents, incidents and falls.
- Identify actions and timeframes to address areas of concern or development in consultation with the Director of Quality & Compliance and Quality & Risk Manager.
- To support the Director of Quality & Compliance and Quality & Risk Manager in carrying out major investigations and analysing significant events.
- Undertake any other duties relevant to the job role based on the needs of the business.
To apply, you will need:
- Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) Level 4 or equivalent in care or other relevant qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience of working in social care.
- Proven track record of completing and managing the process of auditing services to manage quality and compliance.
- Proven track record in facilitating data collection.
- Evidence of experience managing complaints and quality/performance improvement.
- Evidence of experience managing Safeguarding Notifications and Statutory Notifications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills allowing the role holder to discuss complex issues and communicate appropriately via letter and e-mail with staff and third parties
- Confident in producing and working with percentages
