Grosvenor House

When I show my face and say hi to everyone,
I’m greeted with a smile, and then we all have fun,
We play a game of bingo, scrabble too and then
We’ll have a cup of tea, and resume the games again.

It is very interesting, hearing what they say.
They all have had such different lives, I could stay and hear all day,
I can learn a lot from them, for they all know more than I.
So when they talk I listen, it helps the time go by.

Knowing that the residents have done so very much,
I think they all deserve to have that special touch,
Of happiness and kindness to let them enjoy their day,
What better place to receive this, than here where they now stay.
