Not-for-profit care provider Greensleeves Care has achieved a ‘Top 20 Large Care Home Group’ Award for 2022 from leading online care home directory,, for the fifth year running.

Greensleeves’ overall review score stands at 9.5 out of 10, the result of 915 reviews received across the organisation’s 26 care homes. The Trust shares the list with other sector-leading names including Barchester Healthcare Ltd, Bupa Care Homes and Hallmark Care Homes.

Along with its inclusion in the top large care home group list, Greensleeves Care is also celebrating the individual success of two of its homes in the awards: De Lucy House in Diss and Broadlands in Oulton Broad. The homes also retained their place among the Top 20 Care Homes in the East of England, following review scores of 9.9 and 10 out of 10 respectively.

The annual Awards recognise care home groups according to their ranking, which is based on impartial, independent reviews from care home residents, their families and friends.

Many older people and their families will consult the platform before making a choice about a care placement. Reviews on the platform cannot be edited or removed by care organisations and are therefore seen as an accurate and honest portrayal of UK care settings.

Julie Clarges, Greensleeves Care’s Director of Quality and Compliance, said:

“We are thrilled to have retained our position among the top care groups in the country, particularly as it comes from reviews from our residents, their families and friends. Greensleeves Care homes operate with a person-centred approach to care, and reviews on platforms like give us invaluable insight into what we currently do well, and more importantly, any areas of improvement in our service.”

Paul Newman, Chief Executive of Greensleeves Care, said:

“I am so pleased to be able to congratulate my Greensleeves Care colleagues once again for each playing their part in achieving this brilliant accolade, and in particular our teams in Diss and Oulton Board. Direct feedback from our residents and their loved ones is something that we will never take for granted and we are honoured to have been recognised in this way.”
