Greensleeves Care has published its latest Social Impact Report, highlighting continued progress for older people, families, colleagues and communities during a year of change.

Reflecting on achievements from the past completed financial year (April 2025 to March 2026), the report shows how the not-for-profit care group continued to invest in its homes, people and services, while strengthening quality, recruitment, nutrition, wellbeing and digital innovation.

In the year Greensleeves Care supported over 1,000 residents and their loved ones, and it extended its impact beyond its homes. Its campaigns, Warmth of Care and the award-winning Get Care Wise reached millions, helping more people access useful information about later-life care and feel more positive about care.

Key impact highlights

  • £3.4 million invested in renovation, refurbishment and maintenance projects across Greensleeves Care homes.
  • 11 more homes achieved Gold Standards Framework accreditation for excellence in end-of-life care, taking the total to 20.
  • 75% of more than 42,000 visitors rated their experience at a Greensleeves Care home 5/5, or ‘Very Good’.
  • Top 20 Large Care Home Group recognition from carehome.co.uk for the ninth consecutive year.
  • Gold accreditation from The 5% Club, recognising continued investment in apprenticeships and career development.
  • Continued digital transformation, supporting care, resident wellbeing, workforce management and stronger connections with families.

Chris Poole, Chief Executive of Greensleeves Care, said:

“This has been a year of change for Greensleeves Care, but our social impact has remained strong. That reflects who we are as a charity and the commitment of colleagues across the organisation.

“We have continued to invest in our homes, strengthen the way we work and develop our teams, while extending our impact well beyond through community connections and campaigns that help more people feel good about care.

“The achievements highlighted in this report give us strong foundations to build on as we continue to improve, innovate and deliver positive outcomes for older people, their families and the communities we serve.”
