Greensleeves Care appointed Wendy Westbury to its Senior Leadership Team last week as Director of Business Development.
Wendy’s appointment will see her heading up a new, broader business development function. In addition to heading the family liaison, marketing and communications teams, Wendy will also lead the charity’s digital transformation plans.
Wendy brings a wealth of experience to Greensleeves Care, having worked for some of the most recognised providers in the sector, in a variety of sales and marketing roles, since 2010.
Prior to joining the charity, Wendy held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing at the award-winning Dormy Care Communities since December 2017 and helped to build the brand from the ground up. Wendy’s experience also includes healthcare organisations such as Signature Senior Lifestyle Limited, Barchester Healthcare, and Sunrise Senior Living.
Wendy’s broad experience of the sector will be invaluable to the sales and marketing teams, as well as the charity overall, which welcomes her abundance of creative ideas and wide skillset.
Wendy started at Greensleeves Care on Monday 13th September, and said the following of her appointment:
