Qualified Senior Care Assistant ~ Nights

We are looking for individuals to join our team at Sharnbrook House as a Senior Night Carer. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate they can carry out regular checks on residents and on the building security with special reference to fire prevention at intervals determined by the Home Manager and with regard to residents’ privacy.

You will provide wakeful night duty cover in the home, ensuring the well-being of residents and dealing with any problems that might arise during the night duty. Calling for assistance of the Manager or the Deputy Manager should extreme emergency arise.

You will have Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in social care level 2 or other relevant qualification. An understanding of the needs of residents and proven experience in the safe administration of medication. You will also have an understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
