Broadlands, a residential care home in Oulton Broad Lowestoft, has won the Dignity and Respect Care Home of the Year Award at the National Care Awards 2017.
The judges chose Broadlands because the team demonstrated very clearly how dignity and respect are central to the values, life and culture of the home leading to a happy, engaged and fulfilled resident life and experience.
Owned and managed by Greensleeves Care, Broadlands has been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission.
Anne Maas, Home Manager at Broadlands, said: “We are delighted to have been so well recognised in the National Care Awards. Dignity and respect for residents and staff are part of our culture and foundation of all our work within the care home.”
Winners of the National Care Awards were presented with their trophies by David Baddiel at the high profile Gala Night held on 24 November at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel, attended by over 750 guests.
