
Greensleeves Care is delighted to announce that Gareth Harding, Activity Coordinator at Harleston House Care Home in Lowestoft, has won a prestigious national award from the National Activity Providers Association (NAPA).
The NAPA, a leading professional organisation which honours outstanding activity provision and engagement charity in care settings across the UK, recognised Gareth for his exceptional efforts in promoting wellbeing, physical activity, and confidence for residents at Harleston House. Gareth’s on going exceptional commitment to prioritising wellbeing and making physical activity accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for residents has lead him to be recognised by NAPA as a national finalist in the ‘Physical Activity and Wellbeing’ category.
Receiving the award at the well-attended ceremony in Liverpool in late January, Gareth expressed his excitement that “the whole event made me, and the team feel very special and we were overwhelmed with receiving the recognition by NAPA”. He also anticipated that “the residents will be thrilled.”
Along with Gareth, Andy Rogers, Activity Coordinator at Borovere Care Home in Alton, was nominated for the ‘Everyday Impact’ category, highlighting the meaningful difference and dedication to bring warmth, care and creativity for residents at Borovere Care Home.
