Mum has been in Borovere care home for 4 years and 8 months and I can honestly say that during that time, all of the staff are lovely and treat and support Mum very well. She often comments to me that she is happy in the care home and everyone is so nice to her so I shouldn’t worry about her. There are staff who are responsible for providing a program of activities for the residents, which they do with enthusiasm. Mum is encouraged to join in with the activities, or when she prefers, she can stay in her room. There is no pressure either way. The grounds and building are maintained very well. During the time that Mum has been there, there has been a program of improvements which include replacing the carpet in the main lounge to installing fencing around the grass area to make it secure for the residents, as well as many other improvements. Mum has had two operations while being a resident in the home and both times the care home have done all they can to care for her on her return.
