Coming soon: Mount Ephraim House’s grand re-opening

Mount Ephraim House, a beautiful period care home in Royal Tunbridge Wells, is set to re-open in summer 2022 after the completion of renovations within the home.

The original house was used by King Charles II and Nell Gwyn as a hunting lodge, and the new renovations to the home have allowed state-of-the-art facilities whilst retaining the building’s character and charm. The renovations have increased accessibility throughout the home as well as maximising residents’ safety through the use of modern facilities and equipment.

The home also benefits from a large conservatory, a hair salon, a library, dayrooms, dining rooms, comfortable lounges, two outdoor terraces, stunning views, landscaped gardens and ample parking.

Prior to renovations taking place, residents and colleagues at Mount Ephraim House transferred to a brand-new home, Lavender Fields, in Sevenoaks. Once Mount Ephraim House re-opens, residents who originally transferred across will be given the option as to whether they would prefer to return to the home or to stay at Lavender Fields. Meanwhile, Mount Ephraim House is taking enquiries for new residents and is recruiting staff members across all departments.

The home will provide high-quality, person-centred residential and dementia care and has an exceptional reputation with all healthcare professionals.

Mount Ephraim House is taking new care enquiries now, ahead of its grand re-opening. If you would like to discuss care options for yourself or a loved one, please give our dedicated Senior Family Liaison Manager, Andy Wilson, a call on 01892 351105.
