This is the second year that De Lucy House won this prestigious award.  Additionally, Greensleeves Care which manages De Lucy House won the Top 20 Large Care Home Group 2019 Award.  This shows how highly families value the person-centred care delivered both at De Lucy House and other care homes managed by the care charity.

Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager of carehome.co.uk, said: “It is only the residents and their families and friends who can give a real insight into what a care home is like, which is why we use their reviews to find the best care homes in the UK. Choosing a care home can be a time consuming and exhausting process so we hope our awards help make the search easier.”

De Lucy House, which overlooks the golf course, provides residential and dementia care to 60 residents in a beautiful and homely setting. The home prides itself on delivering a person-centred care. The care home is part of Greensleeves Care, an award-winning care charity which provides highly innovative and personalised care for older people in its residential, dementia and nursing homes across England.

Lauren Tubby, Home Manager at De Lucy House, said: “We are all delighted that De Lucy House was so well recognised through these awards.  Being Top 20 care home in the region brought a real joy and pride to me as the manager, but also to our residents and staff.”
