Senior Care Assistant

What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Care Assistant in our Care Home, Henley House you will be responsible for supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy Manager. You will Take the lead, facilitate, and contribute to staff meetings, staff training, supervision, appraisal, and development activities. You can also expect to administer medication, carry out assessments and care plans. Like everyone at Greensleeves, Senior Care Assistants will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents as well playing your own part in creating an environment that’s warm, welcoming, and vibrant.

What you’ll need

You should have a QCF diploma in Social Care Level 2 (or equivalent) with previous experience in providing care. With proven ability and experience in safe administration of medication. We welcome applications from HCA’s, Health Care Assistants, Support Workers & Domiciliary Carer

Henley House is a brand new 66-bed luxury residential and dementia care home in Ipswich, Suffolk.
