As a Receptionist with Gloucester House, Nursing Home, you’ll provide the warm welcome that helps to make sure every resident and visitor feels at home with us.
As the first point of contact for almost everyone who comes to the home, you’ll have a vitally important part to play in creating a positive and friendly environment.
The role of Receptionist with us is very varied. You can expect to answer phone calls, greet visitors, manage the reception area and show prospective residents and their families around. You will also be expected to support the Home Manager and other senior staff with clerical duties.
The position is for 30 hours per week; 9am – 4.30pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
You’ll need to be professional, caring, courteous and well organised. Ideally you will have worked as a receptionist before. You will have a good basic education with GCSEs (or the equivalent) including English and Maths and know your way around Microsoft Office, have a good telephone manner and strong communication skills.
