Property Advisor

Greensleeves Care, the number 1 care charity in England are now seeking two Property Advisors to join our Property Team covering separate divisions.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As our Property Advisor, you will manage the day to day planned maintenance programme and works across all Trust Homes and properties. You will effectively manage the major work programme, provide advice on the feasibility of building improvements, extensions, acquisitions and will be the first point of contact for Homes and provide advice on all aspects of property management. This role is nominally based at Head office, Cheapside (up to 2 days per week) with frequent travel to the homes within the division.

The divisions available are either London and Kent covering 7 homes (to be 9 in 2022) and East of England and Midlands (10 homes). You will have access to a company credit card, mileage, and expenses scheme.

ABOUT YOU

With substantial experience of building maintenance/development of properties, you will be a an experienced, qualified building surveyor and/or will have a project management qualification. It is an advantage to have prior experience of working on health care properties.

You will have experience in dealing with property and project management and will be familiar with the following areas:

• Managing listed Buildings and buildings in conservation areas.
• Planning process and Building Regulation approval.
• Dealing with building consultants e.g., architects, engineers and other consultants who are involved with planning approval.
• Dealing with Ecology e.g., protected species
• Project financial management.
• CDM 2015 Regulations
• All property related health and safety regulations including dealing with local Fire Officers.

All candidates are required to have a current driving license and access to own car for travelling between home locations.
