What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for ensuring the home prepares fresh food dishes that reflects the preferences and dietary requirements of each resident. Meeting food safety and cleaning standards. You will design menus, manage all aspects of the kitchen, control the budget and lead the catering team.

What you’ll need

  • Experience of working in a kitchen environment
  • Experience of serving food in a professional environment
  • Relevant food hygiene and food preparation qualifications
  • An understanding of the importance of food for residents including a balanced and varied diets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in Managing and supervising staff
  • An ability to demonstrate driving standards with an understanding of quality and consistency
  • creative flair
  • a genuine interest in the residents we support.
