Greensleeves Care now have an opening for an outstanding Director of Business Development to lead our highly successful national business development team.

About the role:

The Director of Business Development will be expected to engage in matters impacting the overall organisation, contributing to improvement initiatives, and acting as an agent for change.

Working with the Executive Team, you will ensure that bids for acquisitions and new sites are commercially viable. You will report into monthly Management Meetings, quarterly Board meetings, and will be required to report on overall business development performance and occupancy levels at regular intervals.

You will oversee the marketing & communications department to identify revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth by securing new admissions and income streams with support from the Family Liaison Managers.

Who we are seeking:

  • A proven people manager with experience of mentoring, coaching, leading, and developing individuals and teams.
  • Significant experience in business development/sales (business to consumer).
  • Good understanding of lead generation in the grey market and of needs-based, relationship selling.
  • Extensive business development, sales, and marketing knowledge, including proven experience in developing and embedding strategic and tactical methodologies, systems, and processes at an organisation level.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including the ability to interpret and make recommendations/decisions based on data.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to flex style according to need to deliver maximum impact.
  • Strong customer orientation and service delivery approach, with the ability to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
