An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Manager to support the work of the Home Manager in the commissioning of care services at our new home in Ely.
The new development at The Orchards will provide residential and dementia care for 66 residents, and will be located in the picturesque cathedral city of Ely, Cambridgeshire.
This role will provide an opportunity for you to contribute to the recruitment and buildup of the staff team to deliver care services that are based on the Trust’s vision and values.
The Deputy Manager’s role is a key position in the Home which combines hands on care work with operational management of the home. You will be working closely with the Home Manager to ensure our service users receive the highest quality of care, using a person-centered care approach.
The successful candidate will:
- Be trained to Regulated Qualifications Framework level 3 or equivalent
- Have relevant experience of working and supervising staff within a care home.
- Have excellent communication and administration skills
- Along with the ability to prioritise and cope with a busy and varied workload are essential.
