At Greensleeves Care we are committed to providing the highest standards in care to our residents. We also understand that our staff are the foundation of providing the best care for our residents.

We are looking for a Day Care Assistant, who can provide a high standard of person centred care to our residents. You will be provided with a comprehensive induction and ongoing training and development opportunities.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate they can provide support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living. You will be able to support residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities, as well assist residents with personal hygiene.

You will be responsible in maintaining all residents’ records and review of care plans. You will also monitor the needs of the residents and inform a senior member of staff on duty of any emergency or concern about their well-being. In addition, you will assist and participate in activities for residents within the home.

You will have an understanding of the needs of residents and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality. Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.
