An exciting opportunity has arisen at Viera Gray House to join the team as a Bookkeeper/Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with experience of bookkeeping looking to work in the not-for-profit sector!
What you’ll be doing:
As Bookkeeper/Administrator you will be in a key position in the Home, preparing and keeping records of financial information for use by the Registered Manager and Head Office. You will be responsible be day to day sales and purchase ledger tasks, as well as preparing payroll and monitoring and reporting on the budget.
What you’ll need:
You will have excellent numeracy and communication skills with substantial experience of both working in an office in an administrative capacity, and having carried out manual and/or electronic bookkeeping. Relevant qualifications (in administration or bookkeeping) are not essential, nor is experience of having worked in a care home – although both would be preferred.
