We are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper at our care home, Sharnbrook House. This is on a 6 month fixed term contract.

As our Bookkeeper you will be in a key position in the Home, preparing and keeping records of financial information for use by the Registered Manager and Head Office. You will be required to carry out day to day sales and purchase ledger tasks. You will work with the Home manager collating resident’s information including preparing contracts, managing room diaries and liaising with Local Authorities.

What You’ll Need

You will have strong numeracy and communication skills with substantial experience of both working in an office in an administrative capacity and having carried out manual and/or electronic bookkeeping. Relevant qualifications (in administration or bookkeeping) are not essential, nor is experience of having worked in a care home – although both would be preferred.
