Our Greensleeves Care Home The Orchards are now seeking an Activities Assistant to support in providing a varied and appropriate programme of activity for our residents. We would encourage Events Assistant, Fundraising Assistants, Communications Assistants, or Care Assistants looking to move into an activity role to apply.

What you’ll be doing

As one of our Activities Assistants, you will: Explore ways and resources for creative and enjoyable activities for our residents! This includes group events or individual sessions, Advertise and promote the planned program to encourage involvement of residents, relatives and staff, Participate in fundraising events and planning theme event nights.

What you’ll need

You will have strong communication and organisational skills with previous experience within aged care or with children as well as organising activities.  You must be computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft packages, as well as knowledge of digital cameras.  You will hold a full clean UK driving license and be available to drive one of our two mini buses.
