Queen Elizabeth House is a very comfortable purpose-built residential home opened by the Queen Mother in 1990. The Home is situated on the London/Kent borders mid-way between the busy towns of Bromley and Petts Wood. Queen Elizabeth House has a total of 28 bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Each room is fully furnished to a high standard and has a call bell system, T.V. point, easily accessible light switches and plug sockets. In addition, there are a number of assisted bathrooms/shower rooms.

The Home has a large double sitting room which has just been tastefully re-decorated. This lounge is bright, spacious, comfortable and gives full views to the front and side of the property. There is also a lounge/library overlooking the back garden which is delightfully patioed and has an abundance of flowers and shrubs. A passenger lift is available to the upper floor.

Our catering team offers residents a choice of menu for each meal, which is both tasty and well presented. The Home has won a number of awards in recent years in this area. Residents are encouraged to eat in the Dining Room which has patio doors that open onto the easily accessible, enclosed garden area. The Chef and his team can cheerfully cater for a variety of medical and special diets. In between you can relax, read a book, take part in the many activities offered to residents regularly, take some fresh air, take tea with friends or relatives - the choice is yours!

Our aim at Queen Elizabeth House is to provide comfort and companionship in a supportive environment. We encourage each resident to lead his/her own life as independently as possible and individual cultural and religious needs are respected.
