Grosvenor House

Grosvenor House is a Victorian building in a residential area of St Leonards, near to the sea front. The home overlooks a small park with a bowling green and many rooms enjoy fine views of the sea. The home has a lively social life, activities to suit all tastes, a friendly atmosphere and a dedicated team of staff.

Accommodation

Grosvenor House has accommodation for 33 residents. All of the bedrooms are fitted with en-suite facilities and furnished to a high standard. Residents are encouraged to bring in personal items such as pictures, ornaments and small items of furniture. The rooms are also equipped with a call bell system, TV point, easily accessible light switches and plug sockets. Residents may have a telephone in their room at their expense.

Dining

Our catering team is committed to providing interesting and nutritional meals. Residents are offered a varied menu for each meal, with a choice of tasty and well presented food. Residents may eat in the dining room or take meals in their rooms if desired. All medical and special diets are catered for.

Staffing

A qualified and experienced Manager and team provide 24 hour management cover for the home, and they are ably supported by trained care assistants, catering and domestic staff.

Facilities

There is a very large lounge on the upper ground floor which overlooks the bowling green, a sun lounge next to the dining room, an activities room and a courtyard. There is a lift to all floors and an emergency call system throughout the home.

The home arranges activities, outings and trips for the residents. There are also regular visits by a hairdresser and chiropodist.
